This is our Vertex Freefly Pro Skydiving Suit. This suit is designed to be a competition standard freefly suit with standard specification as follows:
- Taslan or Polycotton main fabrics.
- Specially designed spandex areas for a tight fit and great flexibility.
- Options for Cordura knees and butt for those rough landings.
- Completely tailor made to your measurements.
- All suits come with YKK zips as standard and a large inside chest pocket.
- Available with custom embroidery using our logo designer.
- Optional extras include freefly grips, leg pocket, padded knees and high collars.
A - Neck

Measure around the base of the neck, below the adams apple.
B - Shoulders

Lay the tape behind your neck, from the end of one shoulder to the next. It may help to wear a well fitted tee-shirt and measure from seam to seam.
C - Upper Arm Length

Measure from the same point used in B. It will help to bend your arm and measure to the point of your elbow. NOTE: If this is for a shorty suit please make this the length of where you want the sleeve to finish (This should be before the elbow).
D - Lower Arm Length

Measure from the point used in C, all the way to the wrist.
E - Bicep

Bend your elbow at 90 degrees and measure around the widest part of the bicep. Bent but not tensed.
F - Forearm

Bend your elbow at 90 degrees and measure around the forearm at the widest part.
G - Wrist

Measure all the way around your wrist.
CUFFS - Hand

Please measure around the widest point of your hand. This is to ensure you can fit your hand through your sleeve where there is not spandex.
H - Upper Chest

Arms by your side, all the way around your chest with the tape under your arm pits. Tense your chest for this measurement.
I - Chest

Arms by your side, all the way around with the tape across nipples. Tense your chest for this measurement.
I2 - Under Chest

Arms by your side, all the way around with the tape measure below the bust or pecks.
J - Waist

Take this measurement around the waist just below your rib cage at the narrowest point. This should be above your belly button.
K - Hips

Measure around the widest part of your hips and butt. Use the widest of the two measurements.
L - Thigh

Measure at the widest part of your upper thigh.
L2 - Lower Thigh

Measure at the widest part of your lower thigh. This is at the end of the thigh muscle just before it tapers off to the knee. You can measure this straigh or with a slightly bent knee (no more than 45 degrees)
M - Knee

Measure all the way around your knee in the centre whilst your leg is straight.
N - Calf

Measure around your calf at its widest part.
O - Ankle

CUFFS - Foot

Please measure around the widest point of your foot. This is to ensure you can fit your foot through your leg where there is not spandex.
P - Groin to Knee

Measure from high up in the crotch on one side of the leg, down to the centre point of knee. Please do this at the side of the knee. (not pulling the tape to the middle)
Q - Inseam

Measure from high up in the crotch, on one side of the leg down to the floor – SHOULDN'T measure wearing trainers.

Q2 - Knee to Toe

With your shoes on measure from the centre of your knee to the end of your toes. The angle that you point your foot while doing this measurement will be the angle where your bootie achieves tension.
R - Torso

Measure from the hole below adams apple on your neck, under your crotch and up to the bone at the base of your neck. This is an important measurement to get correct. The tape should feel comfortable. Not too tight and not loose. Remember we will be adding +1cm, +2cm or +4cm to this measurement depending on your chosen fit type.
R - Length of Jacket

T - Armpit

Hold your arm out at 45 degrees, measure around the top of your arm as shown in the picture.
Shoe Circumference

This measurement is for FS/RW suits only. Please measure the circumference of your shoe centimetres. To do this simply measure all the way around the sole of your shoe on the outside.
Foot Lower

Measure from your armpit down to the horizontal strap on your rig harness known as the lateral. This is how far down the body the wings will attatch to the jacket.
ARM ZIP AREA SIZE
This will be the approximate size of the arm zip area opening at the widest point. It is calculated automatically for you based on some of your arm measurements.
LEG ZIP AREA SIZE
This will be the approximate size of the leg zip area opening at the widest point. It is calculated automatically for you based on some of your leg measurements.
BOTTOM OF JACKET WAISTLINE

Please take the measurement around the body at the same point your jacket will finish (this should be at the bottom of the measurement "R - Length of Jacket").
J2 - TROUSER WAIST

This is the waist measurement for the top of the trousers. This should be measured around at the point where R2 finishes.
K2 - TROUSER WAIST

R2 - TROUSER CROTCH

Wearing a pair of normal trousers pull them up high like you have your rig fitted. On the front side measure from the top of where you want the trousers to start to the top of the back side where you want them to finish.
